Mike and Claudette welcome you to their converted traditional stone barn. Located in the village of Chillington, midway between Slapton Sands & Kingsbridge in the beautiful South Hams region of Devon. Dartmoor is just a short drive away and if you want to give the car a rest, you can enjoy the scenic bus ride along the coast to Plymouth or Dartmouth (the bus stop is just at the end of the drive).

Enjoy and relax at our Country Cottage, freedom to come and go as you like, to explore new places and blow away those cobwebs. Recharge your batteries on a worryfree weekend, spend a few days walking. The local market town of Kingsbridge is just 4 miles distance, and the resort of Dartmouth is just 8 miles along the A379, which clings to the coast for most of the way, affording lovely views of Start Bay (this is where they practised the D-Day landings). Widlife reserve of Slapton Ley is just 2 miles away, with lots of interesting studies happening and plenty of natural birds to watch.
Cutlands Barn offers quality holiday accommodation and is an ideal holiday destination for those families wanting to explore the many beaches and coves around this area of the South Hams coastline. From our doorstep there are some wonderful walks and cycle rides, both waterside and countryside, flat or hilly!!
Sleeping 6, the property has three bedrooms: the large master bedroom with king-size bed and en-suite shower room, a further double, and a twin room both with en-suite facilities. There is a large fully fitted kitchen/diner and the cosy lounge with woodburner leads through patio doors into an enclosed south facing garden and patio with expansive views across fields. The property benefits from free internet access, parking for 3 cars, plus the local shop and Open Arms pub is only 200 yards away.
